Managing Difficult Conversations - WFH & Work-based Anxiety during Covid-19 - Webinar

The rapid response by many organisations to home-based working has raised a number of potentially difficult conversations concerning performance management, employee well-being and work-based anxiety. In addition, as many people work from home for the first time in roles that had been previously identified as unsuitable for home working, issues of trust and future flexible working arrangements arise. This event explores effective approaches to managing the performance and employee well-being of home-based staff and considers the wider legal implications for home working and flexible working during and post the COVID 19 crisis.

The event will be interactive in nature with real-world examples used to showcase how difficult conversations can go wrong and right when addressing issues of home working and work-based anxiety. Participants will have the opportunity to pose questions throughout the event to explore effective approaches to addressing rumours, resentment and a lack of trust that can develop during remote working.

The event will conclude with an exploration of the legal landscape for home working and flexible working and issues organisations should be considering now they have a home-based staff and the potential implications into the future.
