these shoes are a throwback; they were my first pair of high-tops, and I remember wee lil 13-year old linh thinking she was so cool and edgy and hipster when she first tried them on. I initially was going to donate them, but I ended up using them as a canvas for my artwork. my parents were a big stickler on doodling on things when I was younger (jeans, hands, notebook margins, etc.) so having the creative freedom to customize a pair of sneakers was pretty cool! nothing fancy or anything; just a nice way to revamp the shoes and make them new again. you'll see me kicking with these! hope you guys are able to take your old belongings and make em yours again. :)
