Birding in Singapore - Hindhede Nature Park

Hindhede Nature Park is a small park at the foot of Bukit Timah hill. Located within the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, the park was created to deal with the environmental problem of the defunct granite quarry that scarred the hillside.
Over the years, it has become a refuge for resident forest birds and migrant birds on their winter journeys. The Hindhede Nature Park is also one of the few places in Singapore that you can find six of the eight kingfisher species of Singapore.
