Classic Cars in Movies - Batmobile

The Batmobile is without a doubt the most iconic movie car ever! The car was based on the Lincoln Futura concept car. Before it became the Batmobile it was painted red and made it's movie debut in the 1959 MGM movie 'It Started With a Kiss'. After that movie the car was sold for 1 dollar. In 1965 the car was rebuilt in 3 weeks to the Batmobile as we now know it and made its television debut in 1966. In this video you can watch a scene from the television series and a scene from 'Batman the movie'. And some scenes from other movies in which the Batmobile made a cameo appearance. Enjoy!
