Beetroot Upma for Kids | vegetable upma for kids | 1+ year kids recipes | baby food recipes

Ingredients:

½ cup broccoli (grated)

½ cup carrot (grated)

½ cup beetroot (grated)

1 cup roasted suji (semolina)

1 tbsp ghee

½ tsp jeera (cumin) powder

½ tsp dhaniya (coriander) powder

¼ tsp haldi (turmeric) powder

Salt to taste

2-3 cups of water (adjust as needed)

Instructions:

Heat Ghee: In a pan, heat ghee on low flame.

Add Spices: Add jeera powder, dhaniya powder, haldi powder, and salt. Stir for a few seconds.

Cook Vegetables: Add the grated broccoli, carrot, and beetroot. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until they soften slightly.

Add Water: Pour in 2-3 cups of water and bring it to a boil.

Add Suji: Gradually add the roasted suji while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

Cook Until Thick: Let it cook on low flame, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a thick, smooth consistency.

Serve Warm: Once done, turn off the heat and serve warm.
