My Pop-up Card Demo

I've been playing around with pop-up cards. I find that big or little students love the art of paper pop-ups. I used to teach this in elementary art, but I really wished I had done this lesson with my high school graphic students. There is something so magical about pop-ups no matter what age. Check out Matthew Reinhart's Youtube Channel for tutorials and templates. They are easy to follow along and have kids make their own. I would make this a center in elementary school and provide the kids with the templates. They can start and pause the video and follow along. For secondary, have students make their own pop-ups but they have to make 3 of his templates and design their own.
