Have Faith In The Storm : Psalm 91 Prayer for Protection (part 3)

Our God is an ever present shelter in the storms of life. This is both a meditation and a prayer for protection and safe-keeping, whatever danger you're facing right now.

Listen to these Bible verses before you to go sleep at night, so you will remember God's promises to you and be confidence of his protection as you are sleeping.

There's no better place to shelter from the storm that in the refuge and shelter that is our heavenly Father.

Here's the words for this meditation:

Whatever dangers I face,
You are with me.Whatever traps the enemy sets for me,
You’re the One who keeps my soul safe.
Your love guides and protects me
Your truth sets me free
From the lies of the enemy
Your wisdom keeps my feet free
From the snares of the evil one

I place my confidence in You
Your trustworthy promises
Lead me safely home.
Though the enemy comes to
Steal, kill and destroy,
Yet you keep me secure
As I shelter in your secret place.

With you beside me,
I will not fear the snares of the evil one.
When you are with me,
I need not fear, even death itself.

Whatever evil comes upon me,
All I need is You,
You keep me safe,
You’re my protector,
My rock, my fortress
And my deliverer.
You’re my resting place,
And my shelter in the storm.

In you,
There is hope for my heart
And encouragement for my soul.

Your mercy and grace abound,
Your faithfulness follows me all of my days.
Righteousness and justice are your foundation
Your promises are trustworthy and true
Your steadfast love reaches to the heavens,
Your love and faithfulness endures forever,
Whatever threatens my peace and my safety,
In You alone will I trust.

You’re the place I find refuge from the restlessness inside me,
Where I can rest from the struggle of life,
Where I can flee from temptation,
Where I can run to when sin rears it’s ugly head,
Where I’m safe from the fiery arrows of the evil one.
As You delivered the Israelites from Egypt,
As You delivered David from the hands of Saul,
Delivered Jonah from the belly of the whale,
So will You deliver me.

Surround me,
And protect me,
Keep me safe.
Carry me up on eagles wings
Draw me to Yourself.
Whisper your songs of love to me.

Let me know your presence,
Always with me
Today and always.
