Hino do Império do Brasil (Anthem of the Empire of Brazil) - LEGENDADO [PT/EN]

O Hino da Independência é o Hino também do Império do Brasil (1822-1889) comemorando a declaração da independência do Brasil, composta em 1822 por Dom Pedro I. A letra foi escrita pelo poeta Evaristo da Veiga e segundo fontes da época, a música foi composta pelo Imperador às 4 horas da tarde do mesmo dia do Grito do Ipiranga, 7 de setembro de 1822, quando se encontrava já em São Paulo, devido a sua volta de Santos.

A imagem de fundo representa o Grito do Ipiranga, que na qual nosso primeiro Imperador, Dom Pedro I, fez um discurso onde dizia que não iria deixar os portugueses continuarem a tomar conta do Brasil, resumidamente ele disse Independência ou Morte, que era o slogan da loja da Ordem dos Cavaleiros da Santa Cruz, fundada no mesmo ano(1822) por José Bonifácio.

A primeira imagem que aparece ao lado da letra, é o Brasão de Armas durante o segundo reinado. Em seguida aparece a foto de Dom Pedro II, nosso segundo e ultimo maior governante Brasileiro, e logo após aparece a foto de José Bonifácio, mais conhecido como o "Fundador do Brasil" pois criou toda o sistema monárquico antes de ser declarada a Independência.

The Hino da Independência (Portuguese for Independence Anthem) is a Brazilian official patriotic song commemorating the country's declaration of independence from Portugal. The anthem was composed in 1822 by Emperor Pedro I, the lead figure in the country's struggle for independence, and the lyrics were written by poet Evaristo da Veiga.

On 7 September 1822, Pedro declared the independence of Brazil, where speaked "Friends, the Portuguese Cortes want to enslave and pursue us. From today on our relations are broken. No ties can unite us anymore" and continued after he pulled out his blue-white armband that symbolized Portugal: "Armbands off, soldiers. Hail to the independence, to freedom and to the separation of Brazil from Portugal!" He unsheathed his sword affirming that "For my blood, my honor, my God, I swear to give Brazil freedom," and later cried out: "Brazilians, Independence or death!". This event is remembered as "Cry of Ipiranga". and, after waging a successful war against his father's kingdom, was acclaimed on 12 October as Pedro I, the first Emperor of Brazil. The new country was huge but sparsely populated and ethnically diverse.
