How to Float Mount Artwork
We show you how to float mount artwork. A conservation grade technique devised and developed by Roy Rowlands GCF.
Float mounting is a technique often used in framing to enhance the art on heavier paper by revealing a deckle edge. The paper 'floats' which means that normal T-hinges cannot be used as they would show above the top edge.
