Swollen Lymph Nodes | Auburn Medical Group

Swollen lymph nodes (lymphadenopathy) are common. Cancer and infection can be causes for lymph node enlargement or inflammation (felt as pain). This can occur in the cervical (neck), epitrochlear (elbow), axillary (arm pit), and inguinal (groin) areas. Although lymph nodes are commonly referred to as glands, they are not true glands. This video explains this symptom and the reasons a person would want to get evaluation by a Medical Doctor in case medical treatment might be required.

This video is not intended to diagnose or treat any condition. It is for educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for evaluation by your own doctor.
