Why did the Squirrel cross the road?
The printing press was invented in 1436 by a man named Johannes Gutenberg, and from its development modern media exists today. From radio, to TV, to social media, it all began with him. Newspaper was by far the most common form of media until technology progressed, and in 1847 there was a magazine called “Editors Table”, that received letters of weird happens, circumstances and people. They are credited for having been the first people to write down the joke “Why did the chicken cross the road?”. With that same idea in mind, why did the squirrel cross the road? From our perception, their behavior may seem erratic or nonsensical. However, from the squirrel’s perspective, always thinking two steps ahead, their actions are trusted in the foundation of their survival. Imagine an individual questioning that squirrels ability to do what is in its nature or what it believes is best for itself? If the squirrel were to be injured, would you dictate where and how it gets its treatment or would you get it to the people who know best? Individual liberties, especially those within this country should be respected and private. There is no reason to think that you know better than others, especially their livelihood. Mind your business.
