Solo Winter Camping – Survival Challenge at -15°C in the Snowy Wilderness

Join me on a solo winter adventure deep in the snowy wilderness, where temperatures dropped to -15°C and every moment became a real test of survival.

Day one started calmly. After crossing a valley, I found two large moss-covered rocks — the perfect spot to build a hidden shelter. Using my tarp and dry leaves, I created a warm, insulated space.
I gathered enough firewood, baked bread on hot stones, and restored my energy. That night, I slept between the two rocks, with no sleeping bag — only the warmth of the fire against the cold stone walls.

On day two, everything changed. A sudden snowstorm and blizzard transformed the forest into a harsh wilderness. Relying on bushcraft and survival skills, I built a new shelter using fallen logs and made a raised bed to stay off the frozen ground.
Heavy snow, strong winds, and freezing temperatures made it a serious survival challenge — especially without gloves or a sleeping bag.

For fire, I used dry yew wood — rich in natural oils — which burned hot and long, perfect for the freezing night.
At sunset, I cooked wild meat over the open flame and baked fresh bread — a simple but powerful meal drawn straight from nature.

This winter camping trip wasn’t just about surviving — it was a true test against subzero temperatures, relentless snow, hail, and the wild unpredictability of nature.
