A young woman going by the name of Jules, or sometimes the Engineer, tries to keep her mind busy. She finds distractions in everything, especially in her work, because when left alone with her own thoughts… she has “the flashes”. Years of her life were taken from her… and she is only able to recall snippets from that lost time, but they paint a clear picture: Her father was a monster, and it was all her fault. She is Marigold, daughter of Midas, heir to a shamed legacy, and no one but her can know.
