SMALL BATHROOM MAKEOVER| Small Space Storage Solution
Hey guys welcome to my channel! Where I do a new DIY every single week! This week I tackled the small bathroom that is off of my bedroom. This space was dark, lacked storage and was not functional. So my goal bathroom makeover was so make is feel bigger and add more function storage.
The first things I had to do were a bunch of things I've done in previous rooms. First up was painting, and I painted the room white. Because if you want to make a space feel bigger it always good to start off painting it white. Then I went ahead and created an accent wall... of course, its me! To create this accent wall I used blue and white bird patterned wallpaper.
The pattern is mainly white keeping this space nice and light. But then there is the blue bringing in the same color scheme I used in my bedroom. And of course a I love the pattern and birds.

While doing the wallpaper I replaced the light with a light I got on FB market place. I switched out the shades for a classic glass shade.

After painting and doing the wallpaper I tackled updating the vanity. I started off by sanding everything. Then doing two layers of primer. two layers of paint and then enamel paint. I updated the hinges using and handle by spray painting them gold.

after finishing the vanity I hung up some gold hook for towel and one for a hang towel.

Then after that I finally got to making some custom stuff for this space. The first thing I made was a long skinny shelf. with 6 small shelves on it.
Board measurements. Back board was 31 inches long. The shelves were 10 inches long. 1x6
The second shelf was a 1x4 that was 31 inches long.
Finally the last thing I made was a behind the door shelf. This was perfect adding hidden storage. It's actually a lot of space for storing things. The dimensions and 16 inches wide 36 inches long. I have the two bottom shelves at 12 inches.
I love the way this space turned out I'm so happy to have a more functional space.
