Lukunhirranmirri - Gunyangara

This music video was created by SoundED with Gunyangara community as part of a school holiday activity in July 2019, coordinated by Anglicare NT and sponsored by the NT Government.

Anglicare NT thanks the community of Gunyangara and all those who participated in the creation of the project. Special mention to the young people who wrote and recorded “Lukunhirranmirri” (Feet Firmly on the Ground).

“The song is about us kids putting our feet to the ground, knowing that Gunyangara belongs to us, to Yolngu.”
