Cleaning an Opossum pouch

This is sweet pea, Second Chances Wildlife Center's educational animal. Someone illegally kept her for five months before we obtained her. She was inhumanely kept in a fish tank! She is unable to return to the wild. she is now 3 years old, which is old for an opossum, and has an infection in her pouch. Opossums make the best rehab patients because of heir gentle nature.
