Not every relationship is meant to last forever… but that doesn’t mean it was a waste. Sometimes, the biggest blessing is simply learning something about yourself.

One of my biggest takeaways from my first relationship after my divorce was that I was capable of loving again. ❤️ I had convinced myself I was done with love, over it, never trying again. But that relationship—even though it didn’t last—showed me that my heart was still open. And for that, I am grateful.

Every relationship or situationship serves a purpose. It may not give you the fairytale ending, but it can give you:

✅ A deeper understanding of yourself
✅ A chance to experience love, even if temporary
✅ A lesson in what you do and don’t want
✅ Proof that your heart is still capable of feeling
