The Cliffs Of Dooneen - The Dublin City Ramblers

I love this version of the song. A lot of folk have been hunting for the Cliffs of Dooneen over the years. Dooneen Point is at the mouth of the Shannon on it's southern (Kerry) shore, but the song may have it's roots in an old poem 'The Cliffs Of Moveen' which are across the river on the Atlantic shore of that Clare peninsula....
