Hello peeps!

So last time I vidded my girl was last year and nothing has really changed ever since.
I mean she's still asleep and the show is just not the same without her because you know...Elena Gilbert was (and still is) the soul of tvd.
She went through so much in her young life and yet she's always been the strongest character among all. She's lost almost every member of her family, she was suddenly dragged into a supernatural world while still mourning her parents' death.
She was emotionally abused, knocked down and finally killed only to come back to life as a vampire and eventually being able to embrace that as well.
Then she had the chance to finally choose for herself for once in her life and spend the rest of it with the person she loves more than anything but a freaking spell condemns her to spend more than a lifetime asleep while the future (with its endless opportunities) passes her by. She deserves so much more.

While listening to this song for the umpteenth time the other night I got this idea because, if you think about it, all Elena did in her life was "building homes".
Solid, pure and beautiful relationships without asking for anything in return.
She was the "impact and the glue" and I'm looking forward to see her on my screen again, hopefully soon.
This video really means a lot to me, I made it in two days -at night- and I gave my everything (all my tears). Hope it can touch you all the same way.
