2 Hours of Halloween Theme Main Title (Cover of 1978 John Carpenter) continuous. (HD-HQ)

2 Hours of continuous Halloween Theme, Cover of Main Title from the John Carpenter's Halloween Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.
On Halloween night of 1963, six-year-old Michael Myers stabbed his sister to death. After sitting in a mental hospital for 15 years, Myers escapes and returns to Haddonfield to kill. Although this hit soundtrack was recorded with cheap '70s synthesizers, the simple scores composed by John Carpenter are acclaimed masterpieces. Carpenter sets the mood for his horrific movie with such tracks as "The Shape Stalks," "Laurie's Theme," and, of course, his main theme, which consists of the beating out of a 5-4 rhythm. A definite first pick for those interested, this soundtrack even bests most scary music albums. Halloween is a movie about evil, plain and simple. In writer-director-composer John Carpenter’s world, evil is made flesh by one Michael Myers for no other reason than he simply is so. It is beyond human understanding to know why, nor does it truly matter. Evil can get you, even in your suburban neighborhood, and for no other reason than you crossed its path. Originally about three babysitters nominated for ritualistic slaughter by an escaped psych patient who, one Halloween night 20 years earlier, silently and emotionlessly murdered his older sister when he was only 8-years-old, Halloween is chilling in its unknowable malevolence. And that Other, a masked murdering enigma, is only better represented by its even more inexplicable score. Written by its director at a time when John Williams had brought symphonic soundtracks back, Halloween is merely a simple piano and synthesizer melody constantly repeated in a 10/8 (or complex “5/4”) meter throughout the picture. It represents the banality of evil and stalks your mind and your dreams like a knife hunts for meat. It may owe a little bit to The Exorcist, but besides being written specifically for this film, it broadens that piano menace to an entire score. From beginning to end, Halloween hisses calm, calculated and confident wickedness to the audience. And it hums there still long after the final credit is rolled. That makes it the scariest, and the best, horror movie theme of all time.

Halloween night, 1963. A six year old child (Michael Myers) murdered his 17-year-old sister. He was locked away at Smith’s Grove-Warren Sanitarium for 15 years, but on October 30, 1978, things were about to change. While being transferred, a now 21 year old Michael Myers escapes Smith’s Grove and returns to his quiet hometown of Haddonfield. Seventeen-year-old Laurie Strode is a quiet bookworm, preferring babysitting over parties. Her friends, Annie and Lynda, are busy thinking about the fun of Halloween night. That evening, Laurie and Annie are babysitting across the street from each other. Laurie has to keep an eye on Tommy Doyle, while Annie watches Lindsey Wallace. Little do they know that Michael Myers has come home. Carefully, he murders Annie first, followed by Lynda and her boyfriend Bob. Their only hope is Dr. Loomis, Michael’s childhood psychiatrist who has followed Michael’s trail back to Haddonfield. Loomis enlists the help of town sheriff and together the duo search the streets, but the bogeyman is close to his prize for the night: Laurie!
