New Zealand Truck Scenes - Evans Street, Timaru - 4/6/21

Scenes of heavy trucks, in action at Timaru, New Zealand.
Trucks are mostly shown on State Highway 1, at Evans Street, in the vicinity of Caroline Bay and Maori Park. All filming was done on 4 June 2021, in between 9:15 and 9:45am.

Timaru is a port town, on the east coast of the central South Island, halfway between Christchurch and Dunedin with a population of 28,700 (June 2020). Within two hours are recreational lakes, ski-fields and Mount Cook.

Most trucks shown are of European, Japanese and American origin. Transport companies include Temuka Transport, Toll, Mackenzie Supply Services, Daily Freight, Firth Cement, Service Foods, Transport Waimate, Hilton Haulage, Talleys, Mehrtens, Transdiesel, Goodman Fielder, Golden Bay Cement, Fonterra, Fresh Pork, Mainfreight and Four Peaks Transport.

Trucks include Kenworth, Scania, Mercedes Benz, MAN, and Volvo.
