Early in her career, she was a very extroverted performer, who inspired such luminaries as Josephine Baker ... After her career slowed down, she unfortunately lost her spark and turned to religious belief ... Still having a great voice, she lent it even to the infamous soul catcher Billy Graham, and his so-called-christian, hate mongering, anti-gay movement ...
