Former Sports Illustrated staff photographer Ron Modra tells the story behind some of the most iconic images of Russian Olympic pole vaulter Sergey Bubka on an amazing venture to Moscow and beyond. It's quite a tale culminating with a portrait of Bubka captured in Red Square. Ron is a founding member of Ronnie Dunn's Lensman Project Gallery in Nashville Tennessee and co-teaches many workshops with Sony Artisan Don Smith.
