अंता विधानसभा सीट पर होने वाले उपचुनाव को लेकर भाजपा ने अपना प्रत्याशी घोषित कर दिया है। उपचुनाव के लिए भाजपा ने मोरपाल सुमन को प्रत्याशी बनाया है। मोरपाल सुमन वर्तमान में बारां पंचायत समिति के प्रधान हैं। उनकी छवि लो प्रोफाइल नेता के रूप में जानी जाती है। इसके अलावा मोरपाल जातिगत समीकरण में भी फिट बैठते हैं। भाजपा में लंबे मंथन के बाद सभी ने एकजुट होकर मोरपाल सुमन का टिकट फाइनल कर दिया।
