In the Himalayan snow, just below Mount Everest, a group of people battle against frostbite, starvation and death by exposure. They are Tibetans trying to march to their freedom in India, leaving the Chinese oppression of their country behind them. Filmed on location in India, Nepal and Tibet, it discovers the torture and terrible hardship suffered by the Tibetans and includes testimony from two exiled monks who have harrowing stories to tell.
