WISAMO is an innovation initiative from Michelin Group and develops an inflated, foldable and automated wing using wind propulsion as an hybrid solution to reduce fuel consumption and then greenhouse emissions like CO². The wing can be adapted to any kind of vessels, new ones or the ones already operating: Ro-Ro, bulk cargos, oil and gaz tankers, containers as well as sailing and yacht boats. Thanks to WISAMO, Michelin aims to contribute to maritime transport decarbonization.

From the leaders in mixed flow technology comes the next generation of waterjet propulsion. The X Series provides users with more power in a lighter unit that burns less fuel and extends range over comparable alternatives, thereby reducing cost of ownership.

Enhanced reversing bucket - The cast aluminum bucket has been designed for decreased stopping distance and increased maneuverability. With its new narrow design, center-to-center installation placement is minimized and the mechanical tie bar synchronizes steering with the helm pump.

▶ 3. Kongsberg Gruppen - A5 Series Waterjet
Taking more than three-years research and development, the new A5 Series improves upon the popular FF range of Kamewa waterjets by providing greater thrust from a waterjet with a more compact inboard footprint.

Geared towards smaller boats and craft up to 25m in length, the A5 series is manufactured from high-grade marine aluminium and available in seven sizes with power outputs between 100kW and 1230kW. The A5 will eventually replace the FF range and size 29 will be first to hit the market.
