Private Road Maintenance ― Removing Trees Blocking Two Roads

It seems like after every wind storm there are new trees across our roads! In today's video, the first tree is a large branch from an American Elm that fell and got hooked-up in a smaller oak tree at the edge of one of our roads. This branch was only blocking the road a bit as it had not fallen all the way yet, but eventually would have blocked the road, and was doing more damage to the tree it was hung-up in the longer it remained.

The next two trees across the road are a full ash tree and a large branch from one of the oak savanna oak trees 🙁— which was taken out by the ash tree. I will be going back in a future video to show how a peavey works, and will dice-up the rest of the ash and oak, haul all of the wood up, and spit/stack all of it.
