Iceland Volcano Drone 4K - Lava Overflows Crater Gap Into Valley, Extended

From the Fagradalsfjall volcano in Iceland (Geldingadalir). Shot with DJI Mini 2 on July 18th, 2021, 1:45pm to 4:45pm. Can see the lava overflowing crater into Meradalir Valley via a new opening in the east wall.

This was on our third and final attempt to see lava through the fog. Got very lucky when the weather cleared up and the tremors restarted right as we pulled into the south parking lot. We walked along the lower east side of the “Trail C” ridge.
