Knitting a sock on the Erlbacher Gearhart Speedster circular sock knitting machine

This is an 80-needle (hook) cylinder. The yarn is Neon Now from Plymouth Yarn. http://www.ravelry.com/stash/search#colorway=3&photo=yes&view=thumbs&yarn-link=plymouth-yarn-neon-now
The video runs at 1000% speed, so what you're seeing took approximately an hour, from start to finish The toe and top need to be finished off by hand.

There is no electricity or other power source -- the machine is completely hand cranked. There's also no automation -- all patterns, toe construction, and heel turns are done by taking needles in and out of work (all the way up is out of work). The striping is inherent to the yarn.
