Singapore Changi Airport is the 2nd Best Airport Worldwide, next to Korea's Incheon International Airport. This shows the dominance of Asia in this field, as the first 5 places for "Best Airports Worldwide" are taken completely by Asian countries. The primary reason for American and European airports falling out of favor: They are much older and usually don't have ultramodern features.

Changi Airport currently employs over 28,000 people and handles more than 27,000 flights. Changi Airport looks identical to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. This is because the design was copied by Singapore authorities, who were impressed with Taiwan's airport design. However, Singapore airport has better features than any other airports in Asia. It has a monorail system connecting different terminals. There are plenty of duty-free shops, free internet terminals and food & beverage outlets.
