Yanky 72 Memorial

10 July 2017

The crew and passengers of Yanky 72 departed Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station North Carolina for the last time. Their destination was Naval Air Facility El Centro in California for a routine training exercise. The men and their aircraft, a KC-130T never made it to their destination. At approximately 1550 Eastern Time a catastrophic failure of the number two engine shortly followed by a catastrophic failure of the number three engine caused an inflight breakup and subsequent crash of Yanky 72 killing all 16 souls on board.

This is a short video produced by Green Wolf Tactical to honor those 16 men on the second anniversary of this tragic event. The spirit of these warriors, husbands, fathers, brothers, and sons will be continually celebrated and their legacies will live on in our hearts here at Green Wolf Tactical forever.

To the families of the victims: Although our family here at Green Wolf Tactical may never meet you or your loved one, we share in your mourning. We pray the small tokens provided by our company and the donations of countless others will forever be a reminder of our love and compassion for the crew and passengers of Yanky 72 and of all service members whose lives are cut tragically short.
