This video is about our epic adventure hiking, climbing, and scrambling up a giant rockslide in the Adirondacks on Whiteface Mountain! Beginning from the Lake Placid side, our route traversed along a gorgeous trail that soon turned into intense uphill bushwhacking through dense forest and rocky streams, all before reaching the impressive rock wall called the "Placid Slide" or “Brook Slide”, with amazing views of Lake Placid! Follow along on our mountaineering adventure as we explore one of the tallest peaks in the Adirondack Mountains!

Route info for climbing the "Brook Slide" on Whiteface Mountain, starting from the Lake Placid side - please be sure to plan your route ahead of time, know what you're getting into (this 30 minute video doesn't convey how long or difficult it is, and we're both long distance Ironman Triathletes who regularly train for very long endurance events). Always plan for contingencies in the event of emergencies - we brought a personal locating beacon with us in case of injury or getting lost. Also, do not rely on this video as a guide, because it only shows a small fraction of what we went through.
