C.Stamitz Symphonie Ensemble Caprice

Carl Stamitz (1745 -- 1801) composed his symphonie in G major, op. 9 Nr. 2 in Mannheim, but the piece found its way to London and subsequently to Boston where the piece was performed during the 18th century.

The video features the 1st movement Allegro maestoso.

Ensemble Caprice is conducted by Matthias Maute in a live performance in Montreal, January 2013.
