24 by Red House Painters is taken from 'Down Colorful Hill', released in 1992 and reissued in 2015 - first as part of a box set and then as individual albums.

Red House Painters were Mark Kozelek, Anthony Koutsos, Gorden Mack and Jerry Vessel. They released four albums for 4AD, followed by a retrospective in 1999.
