The Last Rose of Cintra (Theme) | The Witcher (OST) by Sonya Belousova & Giona Ostinelli

One of the most distinct and recognizable themes from the first season of "The Witcher" is that that identifies with the fall of Cintra and, by a certain extent, also the rise of Nifgaard, working at times as a villain's theme. This theme has an ominous and tragic tone, accompanied by the sorrowful lyrics by Declan de Barra and the distorted sound that appears recurrently in the score. It's quite a miss that this beautiful and memorable theme wasn't reprised for the next seasons, but it's undoubtely one of the best musical motifs that Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli have crafted together for the show.
