This video is one of the earliest instances in the NHL where a team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, tanked out their season to land a shot at saving the franchise by drafting superstar Mario Lemieux. It shows how the management did it, how bad it was, and the success that lead after drafting Lemieux. If all of this never happened, would the Penguins even exist?
