October 7, 2022 In the Men’s Prelim, Gustavo Ribeiro (Lisbon, Portugal) became the first skater of the day to join the 9 Club en route to qualifying first overall. Ribeiro scored a 9.1 on his bigger flip front board to bring his total overall score to 25.7. SLS Seattle third place skater Chris Joslin (Hawaiian Gardens, California) matched Ribeiro’s line score, but his tricks scores left him a point behind the top spot. Jagger Eaton (Mesa, Arizona) returned to skate his first SLS event of the year, the model of consistency. Eaton scored a 7.5 or higher on all his lines and tricks except the final trick attempt.

Eaton on his return – “I haven’t competed in so long and I’ve been keeping tabs on all these dudes, watching them compete and watching them kill it. My strategy today was just to come out here and be a threat.” #SLS #StreetLeague #SkateBoarding
