The white truthseeker winds up caught attempting to keep the evidence to himself and becomes subjected to a highly mind-altering interrogation procedure. But since officer Montri takes an instant liking to him, our hapless photoshooter is soon released. His movements no longer restricted, he heads to Thailand where he bonds with an able-bodied local named Pangpen. He proceeds to utilise his assistance for the task of revisiting the Rouge to rescue Mieng, a Cambodian countrywomen with whom he had inexplicably developed a romantic relationship in the "good" old times...
