Running you guys through my weight loss surgery journey!

It's been quite the experience and I'm super excited to share it with you guys, from meeting my bariatric surgeon to progressing through my meals! I'm very happy with the results so far and can't wait to see how I progress in the months to come.

TONS of research was done for MANY MONTHS before I settled on getting gastric bypass. If you or someone you know is considering weight loss surgery, the best thing you can do is RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH! Read forums, check out real people online who have done the surgery and read about their progress (good and bad!). Personally, having issues with PCOS/infertility, it was even more important to educate myself on how weight loss surgery could impact my health. This was the best decision I could make for myself and I don't regret it one bit!

I had roux-en-y/gastric bypass surgery December 5th, 2017 and have lost a total of 27lbs as of February 26th, 2018 (12 weeks post-op).
