Harry and Meghan turning into the ‘Royal version of the Kardashians’

Harry and Meghan Markle were the runaway royals because of what they perceived to be the UK’s intrusive media, but they have now become “royal version of the Kardashians,” according to Spiked Online’s Brendan O’Neill.

The Sussexes have recently signed a deal with Netflix reportedly worth more than $200 million AUD, sparking controversy over their royal titles.

Mr O’Neill said many Britons perceive Prince Harry and Meghan Markel as exploiting their Duke and Duchess of Sussex title to “gain fame and wealth and influence”.

“Just when you thought Harry and Meghan couldn’t get any more ridiculous,” He told Sky News.

“They said they wanted to runaway from the UK because of our intrusive media, and how horrible the media was to them, and now they’re doing this incredibly showbiz thing.

“It is kind of a royal version of the Kardashians. That’s what they’re turning into.”
