Ganadaria RB. Os proprietários desta Ganadaria têm os seus animais distribuídos por várias pastagens, tal como outros aqui na Ilha Terceira. De vez em quando é necessário trazer os animais até aos currais a fim de serem desparasitados. Neste caso, esta pastagem fica um pouco mais acima das pastagens principais. É sempre complicado apanhar todos os touros e fazê-los percorrer o caminho até aos referidos currais. Pelo caminho passam viaturas, pelo que é necessário fechar a estrada por algum tempo, a fim dos animais chegarem rapidamente ao destino. Este procedimento é fácil. O que não é nada fácil é reunir os animais em pastagens complexas e perigosas como a que vemos aqui no vídeo, embora possamos ver apenas uma parte. Lá por trás, existem muitos arbustos, árvores e buracos onde os touros se podem esconder. É um serviço que só é possível fazer com homens corajosos, ajudados por cavalos e cães que podem procurar algum touro perdido ou escondido. Neste dia foi possível trazer apenas metade dos touros que lá se encontravam. A noite surgiu antes que tudo tivesse terminado. É um local difícil de filmar, pois não temos grandes opções de nos escondermos para que os touros não nos vejam, caso contrário, se nos avistarem, o mais provável é não se dirigirem para onde queremos, e assim dificultar o trabalho. Vehicles pass along the way, so it is necessary to close the road for some time, so that the animals can quickly reach their destination. This procedure is easy. What is not easy at all is bringing animals together in complex and dangerous pastures like the ones we see here in the video, although we can only see part of it. Behind it, there are many bushes, trees and holes where the bulls can hide. It is a service that can only be done by brave men, helped by horses and dogs that can look for a lost or hidden bull. On this day it was only possible to bring half of the bulls that were there. Night came before everything was over. It's a difficult place to film, as we don't have many options to hide so that the bulls don't see us, otherwise, if they see us, they'll most likely not go where we want them to go, making the job more difficult.
