Anti-Theft Security Hardware for Diode Dynamics SS3 and SSC2 LED Pods

Diode Dynamics doesn’t sell security hardware directly, but you can get “Tufnuts” in the appropriate size for fairly cheap on Amazon. The correct size is 5/16” and while you can get them for as little as $0.87 each if you order a pack of 100, you can still find them in smaller quantities for relatively cheap. In my case, I found a set of 3 nuts (for a pair of pods) for just $3.85 here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003XU7P4I/

These work as anti-theft nuts for both the Diode Dynamics SS3 and SSC2 led off-road light pods. They're zinc-coated steel and should be highly corrosion resistant.

Disclaimer: there are no guarantees in any “anti-theft” device. If somebody is targeting your lights, they can come prepared and still steal them. Hardware like this is supposed to prevent opportunistic theft.
