Exercise Red Flag is an advanced air combat training exercise conducted several times a year by the United States Air Force. The purpose of the exercise is to provide realistic air combat training to military pilots and other aircrew members from the United States and allied countries.

Each year, three to six Red Flag exercises are held at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, and up to four more, dubbed Red Flag–Alaska, are held at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska.
