Father Struggling save daughter from Drug Abuse - Part 1 - Episode 219 - 9th March 2013

Narsimha Murthy lived with his wife Lakshmi and two daughters Anjali and Anita. In a middle-class upbringing, Narsimha's daughter Anjali was going astray. Anjali's parents first discovered her going astray while she was in the 9th standard, and when her marks suddenly started dropping, and packets of cigarettes and gutkhas were found from her bag. Same stuff was found from Anjali's room also. In a bid to take her away from bad company, Narsimha changed her college and got her admitted in the college where he worked. However, Anjali did not show any signs of improvement and started bunking classes. A distraught Narsimha began keeping an eye on his daughter. One day Narsimha decided to follow her and found her taking drugs by the beach side. Anjali's friend Renu, and their male friends were also a part of this activity. Narsimha reprimanded his daughter and barred her from stepping out of the house. The punishment of being confined at home seemed to work as Anjali apologized to her mother and promised that she would mend her ways. One day, out of sympathy, when her mother took her out for shopping, Anjali gave her mother a slip and escaped from the market. Where did she go? What did her father do to get her back?

That gaze, that quirky smile, that persistent stare which unnerves. It is difficult to understand the intentions but the hints are there.In a house a husband and wife argue, fight. A vessel comes flying, a glass breaks. Husband is angry and the wife is upset. That hatred, that ego. The distance that keeps growing. It is difficult to comprehend the damage, but the cracks are there.Feelings... expressions. Misunderstood, unresolved callings of the heart. The cracks are there. Too wide to be missed. Yet when the heart takes over the mind, the outcome is a mindless tragedy.Crime Patrol- Dastak will attempt to look at the signs, the signals that are always there before these mindless crimes are committed. Instincts/Feelings/Signals that so often tell us that not everything is normal. May be, that signal/feeling/instinct is just not enough to believe it could result in a crime. Unfortunately after the crime is committed, those same signals come haunting.
