Mosaic Smalti: A Traditional Mosaic Material Video

Smalti is a glass material formed from molten glass poured into paddies, cooled and cut into individual pieces. Italy is credited as the originators although today it is manufactured in a few different countries. In this video "Make it Mosaics" discusses the differences between Mexican and Italian smalti.
