Did you know you can add multiple soda cans at the bottom of your plant pot to improve the water drainage? It’ll also help avoid drowning your plants’ roots. So instead of chucking those metal cans, put them in good use.
Speaking of plant pots, you don’t need to buy new ones for your houseplants. Just take empty plastic crisp/chip bags, fill them with soil and start planting.
Another great trick is to take a soda can, turn it upside down, pierce a few holes on its bottom and use it as an egg separator.
I also show you how to make your own toothpaste. You can use it occasionally to avoid throwing out too many toothpaste tubes. Make sure you also brush your teeth with regular fluoride toothpaste to prevent cavities.
