September San Juans with PT Watercraft
http://ptwatercraft.com/ptwatercraft/Welcome.html Every year, after Port Townsend's amazing wooden boat festival, we make an effort to get in one last sail while the weather is beautiful. It is a time for us to get new videos and recover from 3 days of non-stop talking at the festival. These clips are from this year on a trip that had us mostly hunkered down out of the rain... the funky beat MUSIC is by Blanket Music, a tune called Guernica.. The DINGHIES pictured are a PT SPEAR and our dinghy, the PT 11 NESTING DINGHY. I take note of the fact that the seasoned captains of these 'mighty li'l craft' are not wearing PFD's. They are in the boats along with other safety equipment (as well as our coffee thermos and chocolate.) I like to wear my PFD but others prefer to sit on theirs. We strongly encourage all dinghy sailors to wear a life jacket and one that they feel comfortable in. Also seen in this little video, is our G32 catamaran, Incognito that was the first solo finisher in the 2017 Race to Alaska. Happy dinghy sailing and exploring!
