9-BALL – Back in 1993, “California Kim” KIM DAVENPORT and “The Philly Flash” Jimmy Fusco were in the Finals of the Sands Regency Open in Reno, Nevada. Davenport, 37, a future Hall of Famer, was the 1990 Billiards Digest Player of the Year after winning an assortment of events including the B.C. 9-Ball Open. Fusco, 44, one of the best loved players in his era, was a legendary 1-Pocket expert winning the 1972 Johnston City title. A truly talented player at all disciplines was looking for his first major 9-Ball win. It’s a three-hour contest, so get comfortable for this close and exciting match.
