The government of Eswatini has introduced a curfew amid concern over on going pro-democracy protests in the country.
People are not allowed to be on the streets from six in the evening until five in the morning and schools remain closed.
It has also dismissed as false, reports that King Mswati the 3rd has fled the country and has sought to reassure the amaSwati nation that the king remains in the country and is working with government to advance the kingdom's goals.
Various media reports seem to be in contrast with the government's statements, with some reporting that police and the army had opened fire on pro-democracy protestors.
Political activists and civil society groups have called on the international community to intervene in the hope of creating a democratic system in Eswatini..
