Lunge da lei… Dei Miei bollenti spiriti is an aria from the opera, “La Traviata,” an opera with three acts set to an Italian libretto by Francesco Maria Piave. The opera was based on a play called, “La Dame aux camélias” (1852). The aria is sung when Violetta and Alfredo decided to move away from Paris and live in seclusion for three months. It is sung by the character Alfredo as he tells about the beautiful life he and his love has gotten upon their decision.
